Terms of Service
Last updated: April 26, 2026.
By using RV Calcs (the "site") you agree to these terms. They're as short as we can make them.
1. The calculators are estimates
Every tool on this site is a simplified model of a real-world system. Battery capacity, solar production, propane consumption, and towing limits all depend on conditions we can't see from a web form. Always verify our numbers against your specific equipment manuals and applicable codes before making purchasing or safety decisions. We do not guarantee accuracy.
2. Not professional advice
RV Calcs does not provide engineering, electrical, mechanical, legal, or financial advice. Information on this site is for general educational purposes. For installations involving high voltage, high amperage, gas appliances, or vehicle towing, consult a licensed professional.
3. Use at your own risk
The site is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the site or any calculator on it.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape or republish the site's content without permission.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site or its hosting infrastructure.
- Interfere with the operation of the site for other users (denial of service, spam, etc.).
- Use the site in violation of any applicable law.
5. Content and intellectual property
The original text, calculator code, design, and images on this site are © RV Calcs and its contributors. Open-source libraries used by the site are governed by their own licenses. You may link to any page freely. You may quote short excerpts with attribution. For commercial reuse, please contact us.
6. Third-party links and ads
The site contains links to third-party websites and displays advertising provided by Google AdSense. We do not control, endorse, or warrant the content of any third-party site or advertisement.
7. Changes
We may revise these terms at any time. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Vermont, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Vermont.
